Going green not always easy for towns
The sluggish economy is among the factors affecting communities' efforts to go green, the New York Times reports. Other factors are legal/jurisdictional restraints and public resistance to change.
I am a retired journalist and adjunct professor of journalism. I studied GIS, and I have blogged about cemeteries and land use, urban issues, and honey. All views expressed are those of the author alone.
